Plan Your Trip to the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress June 9th-10th in Marquette Bishop Doerfler is calling all of us together for a Diocesan Eucharistic Congress Friday, June 9th (5:30pm-10:00pm) and Saturday, June 10th (8:30am-6:30pm) at the Superior Dome, to celebrate our faith in Jesus' Eucharistic Presence. We anticipate an exciting event with something for the whole family: nationally-known speakers, a children’s program and teen track on Saturday, uplifting music, Adoration, Confession, and Mass. Registration is open at revival.yoopercatholic.org where you can view a detailed schedule, read the speaker bios, find lodging information, and register adults, teens, and children. You can also sign up to sing in the choir or spend an hour of Adoration through the night. Plan your trip to come celebrate Jesus’ Presence among us!
Prayer for Our School
Dear Lord, bless Sacred Heart Catholic School. Help our Catholic school be a source of wisdom and a place where we learn about Your love.
May all who enter our classrooms be filled with the gift of Your Holy Spirit and come to know You in a more meaningful way.
Help our school community to grow as models of Character, Compassion, and Christian values so that You may be better known throughout the world.
Amen.
Prayer for Vocations
God our father, we turn to You in this time of great need. We trust in Your loving kindness and ask You to hear the prayers we offer for Your church.
Through your grace we seek men to generously offer their lives to You in the vocation of priesthood. We seek both men and women who may offer their lives to You in the vocation of religious life.
Bless and guide those who are discerning your call to holiness and service. Give them courage, steadfast love and a spirit of charity as they seek to respond faithfully to the call to priesthood and religious life.
Amen
OUR VISION
We, the members of Baraga County Catholic Community, are three parishes in one family. We seek daily for the grace of God poured out in prayer and the sacraments to be the-best-version-of-ourselves both as individual believers and as a fellowship of the Body of Christ. seek the lost by our hands-on outreach and unwavering evangelization efforts. Our one aim is to advance the kingdom of God by living the motto of Venerable Bishop Frederic Baraga to do all we do for the greater glory of God, which is the "one thing necessary".
